Tinubu: 'The Sudan War Has Sent A Strong Message To The European Countries' - SGF Boss Mustapha

There has been an initial reluctance by so many European countries to congratulate the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu after the Presidential election. However, a few days ago the Secretary of the United States, Anthony Blinken made a diplomatic call to Bola Tinubu as his inauguration draws closer. The Secretary General of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has alleged that the Sudan war has passed a strong message to the European countries on deepening the democracy in Nigeria.

He stated that with the population of Nigeria, such crisis should never be allowed to see the day light in the province. He further explained that looking at the economy of Nigeria and its potentials, the survival of so many countries depends on the Nation. According to him, the world is more intentional about strengthening the Nigeria's democracy.

He said, ''The Nigeria Enterprise is of absolute significance to the African continent. We are the largest economy in terms of population, we are about 220 million and in the next decade, it is expected that we will be the most populated Nation in the world. The world is looking at Nigeria to deepen this democracy and sustain Democratic efforts and tenets. And also provide effective leadership.

There has been disturbing development particularly with the West African region. The recent Sudan War has sent a strong message to the European countries and they now want Nigeria to succeed in this democratic process. Our sheer population can be a major challenge if we are conflicted as a Nation. The World is expecting us to succeed and they are looking up to us. As a matter of fact, the 2020 election is the most watched election globally for obvious reasons.''
