According to information gathered from a reliable source, the President, Muhammad Buhari, while speaking during a nationwide broadcast to mark Nigeria's 61st independence anniversary, has revealed that high-profile individuals, including a member of the national assembly are financing secessionist leaders like Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho, adding that decisive actions will be taken against secessionist agitators and their sponsors who threatened the peace and security of the country.
One of the few people who reacted to this statement was Joe Igbokwe.
While sharing on his official Facebook handle, the exceptionally boisterous APC supporter, and special adviser to the Lagos State governor on drainage and water resources, Joe Igbokwe said, "The seeds of violence are planted in people's heads through words. Reckless utterance of a few have led to losses of many innocent lives and destruction of properties".
