IPOB unites with Ohanaeze Ndigbo, demands de-proscription as terrorist group by Federal Government

The Indigenous People of Biafra and Ohanaeze Ndigbo met at the residence of Chief Mbazuluike, first Republic Aviation Minister in Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government where both parties agreed to work together for the interest of the South-East.

IPOB resolved to withdraw the threat of stoning Nnia Nwodo and demanded its de-proscription from Federal Government of Nigeria.

Barr. Aloy Ejimakor, who represented IPOB confied that his presence in the meeting was approved by his client, and he confirmed the withdrawal of IPOB's threats on Nnia Nwodo, the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo as one said out of anger.

According to Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, the Anambra State Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo who represented the National President he said, “Those who thought our fences are fallen will know that the fences are stronger than they had thought.”

Chief Amaechi when fielding questions from pressmen, maintained that altercation between the two groups are not necessary, and he expressed joy over IPOB's threats and peace that had reigned.
