Regardless of the mixed feelings some individuals may have concerning his decision to switch allegiance from PDP to APC, there are still reasons why APC members should be happy that Femi Kayode decided to join them.

Bearing this in mind, we have in this article, highlighted 2 reasons why the APC should be happy with Femi Fani Kayode's decision to join them.

Reason One

Femi Fani Kayode is a man that has earned for himself, noteworthy participation and recognition in political activities, in Nigeria. Although he has never contested in an election, Femi Fani Kayode has managed to remain relevant in the game of politics over the years. A cursory study of his daily activities via his Facebook page gives credence to the fact that he is a man who is always on the move across Nigeria, building bridges and establishing political allies.

Going into the 2023 presidential elections, a man like Femi Fani Kayode can prove relevant in the game of lobbying and campaigning.

Reason Two

Another reason why APC should be happy that Femi Fani Kayode joined their party is that he(Fani Kayode) was a member of their main rivals, PDP, for quite some time, including during the 2015 presidential election when he served as the Director of Media and Publicity for Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan's campaign. Through this, perhaps, Femi Fani Kayode acquired some knowledge about PDP's campaign strategies, and how the APC can counter them in the forthcoming 2023 presidential elections.

His membership in APC, therefore, presents an advantage for the ruling party, over the People's Democratic Party, going into the 2023 presidential elections.
