Grammar or Performance: Choose ONE between these 2 To Lead Your National Interest (VIDEO)
The National Assembly is a vital arm of any government saddled with the responsibility of making laws and embarking on some oversight functions but in Nigeria, it is a home of endless drama with great characters. From the one who possess a dancing skill to those with gifted singing abilities. One would wonder if that is one of their primary responsibility or just a way of carving a niche for themselves in the eyes of their constituents and other Nigerians.
There are others who also enchant their teeming audience with comic verbal communication. In this regard, two names would always cross one's mind, a former member of the House of Representative, Hon.Patrick Obahiagbon and a serving member of the same house, Hon. Kazaure Gudaji. These two have a way of bringing out smile and sometimes deep laughter from the mouths of some Nigerians especially those who follow political events or public affairs commentary.
Patrick Obahiagbon is an edo-born former lawmaker who represented Oredo Federal Constituency between 2007 and 2011. Right from his days in the house, he is best known for his grammatical caricature and has a large followership despite the ambiguity in his speech while contributing on social and political issues. Even though some were of the opinion that his hefty vocabularies are usually a mixture of edo, latin and a touch of English language one thing is sure, you would love to hear him speak on any national issues. But you might have to look around for an interpreter. Hence, his statements are said to be meaningful by those who understands him better.
Here is an excerpt of Obahiagbon's recent comments:
"Nigeria still wallows in a state of menicisetal statism, cancerous tribalism, ethnocentric chauvinism, syphilitic parochialism, epileptic nepotism, catalytic parapoism, and a state of brigandage of the bluest dye!" (Interpreted by @numoore via twitter)

Another great character is the lawmaker representing Kazaure/Roni/Gwiwa/Yankwashi Federal Constituency of Jigawa State, Hon. Muhammed Kazaure Gudaji . He came into the spot light after a viral video where he mentioned that the Killings of the people by banditry in the country does more harm than that of the COVID-19 pandemic and urge the executive to channel the same energy on the novel virus to that of the banditry to witness huge success. Kazaure makes lovely contribution in the green chamber but often come with some kind of funny gestures and display. He once said he should be allowed to channel soldiers to the sambisa forest and suggested castration as a punishment for any rapist.

Obviously, these two have their different focuses, while one concentrate more on politics, the other look at more pressing issue affecting the general public. Therefore, Hon. Kazaure, though funny but is more likely to lead my national interest regardless of how he use his words.
What is your opinion about this? And who will you choose between the two to represent your national interest?
