This minor cabinet reshuffling is coming as a surprise to Nigerians, many people would not have thought that Saleh Mamman will be sacked soon.
However, this action by the president has sent a warning to other ministers to sit up. The duration of President Buhari's administration is almost rounding up so he has to start checkmating the activities of members of his cabinet.
This sacking will make other sitting ministers sit up and this will help the administration to achieve its desired goals in the little time that is remaining.
Like the president has been quoted as saying that the rejigging of his cabinet is going to be a continuous thing, all the sitting ministers are going to sit up and carry out their duties effectively to avoid being sacked.
This is one way the sacking of the 2 ministers will affect other ministers, none of them is going to be lazy anymore.
