The father of Abdurrasheed Bawa, Sheikh Yahaya Bawa has been very participative in the religious affairs of Kebbi state.
Sheikh Yahaya Bawa Jega is one of the influential and prominent religious personalities in Kebbi state. Indeed, he has worked efficiently through efforts, commitments and dedication for the development of Islam in Kebbi state. This is why he is regarded with high esteem within the religious community.
No doubt the father of the executive chairman of the economic and financial crimes commission, has worked tremendously to the upbringing of his son. He is indeed a proud father to have such a wonderful son who lead one of the major commission in the federal republic of Nigeria.
