The legal battle as to who is the authentic candidate of the PDP in the November 6 guber election in Anambra State is getting interesting as the Appeal Court in Abuja has ruled that Valentine Ozigbo is the authentic candidate of PDP in the November 6 guber election.

Could this recent court judgement be the end of Ugochukwu Uba's guber ambition? Will he approach the Supreme Court to see if he can get a judgment in his favour?
The fact remains that the PDP is facing the same problem APGA is facing as it concerns the forthcoming election. Ugochukwu Uba, the elder brother of Andy Uba who is the candidate of APC in the Anambra guber election believes he is the authentic candidate of the PDP.
The question is: Does the NWC of the PDP and INEC recognise the primary election that produced him as a candidate? The answer is no. One may wonder why the Uba family are fighting to govern Anambra State.
Ugochukwu Uba represented Anambra South in the Senate under PDP. Andy Uba also represented Anambra South in the 8th Senate under PDP before he defected to the APC.
Andy is now the candidate of APC in the Anambra guber election while his elder brother Ugochukwu Uba wants the court to recognise him as the authentic candidate of the PDP.

It is interesting to know that the people of Anambra State don't see the Uba family as capable of ruling Anambra State.
I see Ugochukwu Uba approaching the Supreme Court to overturn this judgement.
We wait to see if the apex court will deliver judgment in his favour or uphold the decision of the Appeal Court which recognised Ozigbo as the authentic candidate of the PDP.
