Peter Obi Has Announced That There Is No LP Governorship Candidate In Ebonyi State - Dave Umahi
By Lighthousemedia (self media writer) | 9 days ago
The Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, has stated that he has nothing to worry about ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections scheduled to hold on March 18th, 2023.
According to Dave Umahi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has announced that the Labour Party has no governorship candidate in Ebonyi State. However, Dave Umahi claimed that his party would have been equal to the task even if the Labour Party had a governorship candidate in Ebonyi State.
Speaking further, Dave Umahi stated that he does not know how prepared other Governorship Candidates of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu and Abia states are, due to the fact that he was unable to join any of the candidates of the APC in Abia and Enugu states during the campaign.
It is not clear if Dave Umahi was happy or or thankful about Labour Party's inability to present a candidate in Ebonyi State, however his comments about Labour Party could easily be interpreted as him expressing gratitude that the absence of Labour Party has created less competition for his party.
