While Ohanaeze Ndigbo elected her new President, Dr Alex Ogbonna (Public Secretary, Ohanaeze Ndigbo) was interviewed, asked what he thinks about the new president of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo. He said that the new president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo will surely do well, and he believes so.
Dr Alex Ogbonna also believes that Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the new president of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo is the right man for the job and also capable to lead the group. In his words, he said "We need a leader who is fit for the job, a leader who is also financially fit, and someone who can talk directly to the Federal government and also talk boldly to the governors in Nigeria, and Iwuanyanwu is the man".
"This is the first time in history that all the southeast governors are attending the election of the new president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and it is a new beginning". Dr Alex Ogbonna said.
Undoubtedly, there have not been an Ohaneze Ndigbo election that all the southeast governors attended, and this is the first time it is happening, and it shows a new beginning in the face of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo. According to Dr Alex Ogbonna, he said that all the governors who attended the event were all happy to be there, and the event also went on smoothly.
