APC condemns demolition of ex-Edo deputy governor’s property.

The APC has condemned the demolition by the State Government of the property that belonged to former Deputy Governor of Edo, Dr Pius Odubu.

This was said in a statement made on Wednesday in Benin by the State Secretary for Publicity, Mr Chris Azebamwan.

Azebamwan has said that Rep. Julius Ihonvbere and Mr Mike Itemuagbon, a sports enthusiast, were also members of the party whose property was demolished.

He was 75 years old when he died.

APC Will Not Rule For 36 Years – PDP.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria's main opponent, has responded to remarks from its APC ruling that Nigeria will rule for 36 years.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by the acting Chairman of the Party and Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni.

The Nigerians are able to beat the APC by 2023, according to PDP Speaker Kola Ologbondio.

NALDA trains 68 Borno corps members, others as soil doctors.

On Tuesday 269 pioneer land workers and extension services workers in Borno were trained by the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA).

NALDA Executive Secretary Paul Ikonne said that the pioneer graduates, including 68 members of youth corps, had received necessary knowledge and skills in soil selection and analysis as well as in extension services for farmers during the closing ceremony in Maiduguri.
