It was gathered Ojuale, an indigene of the town, came from Port Harcount on Friday to attend a wedding ceremony before he was killed by rival cult members.
Ojuale’s cult group launched a reprisal attack and unleashed terror by engaging in a shooting spree, forcing many residents to scamper for safety.
Ilana Omo Yoruba Speaks
The Ilana Omo Oodua, the umbrella body for all self-determination groups in Yoruba land, on Sunday, debunked rumours that the leader of the group, Prof Banji Akintoye, has been kidnapped and his whereabouts unknown, describing the information as the work of people trying to destabilise the Yoruba race.
The group in a statement signed by its Media and Communications Secretary, Maxwell Adeleye, stated that Prof Akintoye is in good health and is safe, adding that the mission to cause crisis has failed.
Many Feared Dead As Tanker Explodes In Benue
Many people were on Sunday afternoon, feared dead in Oshigbudu community of Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State following a tanker explosion in the area.
Also, many houses, shops and vehicles were razed in the ensuing inferno.
Sources from the area who spoke to newsmen by telephone disclosed that a fully loaded tanker conveying petroleum products fell at the Oshigbudu-Obagaji junction and emptied its content which quickly spread to a filling station along Oweto axis and both went up in flames.
Ezeife Speaks On Igbo Presidency
Former Governor of Anambra state, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, disclosed at the weekend, that supports have been coming from north and south towards the realization of the Igbo Presidency in 2023.

EFCC Warns Nigerians
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has raised an alarm over some Twitter accounts purportedly belonging to Abdulrasheed Bawa, chairman of the commission.
In a statement on Sunday, Wilson Uwujaren, spokesperson of the EFCC, said some of the fake accounts gained large followership after Bawa’s appointment in February.
Some of the fake accounts listed include @AbdurasheedBawa, @AbdulrBawa and @AbdulRashidBawa1.
Lai Mohammed Sends Message To Nnamdi Kanu & Igboho
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, on Sunday said that secessionists will be the first to run away when any problem starts.
The minister assured the Federal Government was working hard to improve national security and prevent all secession tendencies.
Mohammed, who spoke on Sunday in Lagos when he appeared on Bond FM radio programme, “Ibi Abasede”, urged Nigerians not to listen to promoters of secession.
“Those who support separation and secession will be the first to run away when any problem starts.
“We should not listen to them as many of them have about four passports of other countries,” Mohammed said.
Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho have been agitating for the division of Nigeria. Nnamdi Kanu have been agitating for Biafra while Igboho has been agitating for Oduduwa Republic.
