CoronaVirus: Atiku weeps as Son Test Positive, Aisha Buhari and Bank W console him

Recently, The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, announced that his son tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

He made his known via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday.

“My son has tested positive for coronavirus,” he tweeted.

According to the former Vice-President of Nigeria, his son has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment.

“The @NCDCGov (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control) has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real,” he added.

Aisha Buhari :


Nigeria’s first lady, Aisha Buhari has taken to her official Twitter handle to react to the shocking news that the son of former vice president Atiku Abubakar has tested positive for coronavirus

Reacting to the news, Mrs Buhari wished the son a quick recovery.

She wrote:

“Your Excellency, It’s with deep sense of concern that I extend my sincere prayers towards the quick recovery of your dear son. Allah renu en Amin.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Olubankole Wellington also known as Banky W has joined the rest of Nigerians in reacting to the news that son of former president Atiku Abubakar has tested positive for coronavirus.

We pray for his speedy recovery by God’s grace. Thank you for your openness. People need to know that it is a viral infection and not necessarily a death sentence. May God heal our land and keep us all.”
