They're Saying 'Buhari Must Go' Because They Feel Terrorism Is Now At Their Door Step - Femi Adesina

Earlier today, a video of senators singing "Buhari must go" as they left the Senate House went viral, demanding that Buhari address the nation's security issues within six weeks or risk being impeached. The senators are reportedly from the Peoples Democratic Party.

The host of Channels Television's special program Politics Today had the opportunity to speak with Femi Adesina, Buhari's media aide, about the country's current state of insecurity. Adesina responded that the Buhari administration has been making every effort to combat terrorism when asked for his opinion on the threat made by Senate members.

Femi Adesina questioned why the senators are suddenly complaining, claiming that they made the decision to address security issues or risk being impeached because they believed that terrorism was now at their doorstep. Femi Adesina claimed that the Senators don't have the interests of the people at heart and that they spoke out because terrorists are currently assaulting locations in Abuja, which also happens to be the location of the Senate House.

Do you concur with Femi Adesina that the lawmakers' complaints are a result of their perception that the attack is approaching them? Describe your ideas.
