It's no longer a new news that the fight against terrorism has proved abortive for years now. President Buhari promised to crush down the Boko Haram terrorists immediately he is elected into office. This has been a hard thing for this administration to achieve. Instead of the crushing down the terrorists as promised, other terrorist groups has risen up. Examples are the bandits, kidnappers and so many more.
This thing has been a major concern to Nigerians. However, Reno Omokri has revealed what the president said in 2013 that is making it difficult for him to win the war against terrorism. Reno revealed a newspaper that read where Buhari said that the way the former president fought the Boko Haram terrorists depicted anti North.
"During GoodLuck Ebele Jonathan, Buhari blamed GEJ whenever terrorists struck. But under his regime, Buhari wants us to blame the terrorists when they strike. Is this not wonderful coming from Buhari who said 'military offensive against Boko Haram is anti North'?
Some Nigerians on seeing this reacted as follows;
Ebubedike Linus Okechukwu said, " I wonder how people will think that a man that made such a statement can defeat Boko Haram and provide security for Nigerians. Buhari came to power with a mission".
It therefore implies that it will be difficult for the president to overcome the terrorist with military aggression. Fighting the terrorists will ad well appear anti North. That should be one of the reason the fight against Boko Haram has seemed abortive for years.
