According to him, he stated that all the payments must be paid through the bank which must go through a treasury single account (TSA). Due to the information they received about how leakages are happening to the internal revenue of the state.
He made it known to the public that these decisions were made by the state executive council at the weekly which was presided over by governor Hope.
He also warned all the directors of the ministries and agencies that government will not hesitate to punish whoever violates the laid down rules by accepting cash payment for anything beyond the government in Imo state.
He concluded that they should report anyone who caught accepting cash payments to Imo state internal revenue service (IIRS).
