Reactions As Turkish President Phones Buhari, Seeks Nigeria's Support For Palestine

Turkey's President, Recep Erdogan, has phoned President Muhammad Buhari urging him to show support for Palestine following the attacks on Gaza by Israel. The Turkish Presidency made this known on its Twitter handle.

Erdogan told Buhari that he is trying to get international community support to teach Israel a lesson about being unjust, unlawful, and unscrupulous. Turkey's President said he believes that Nigeria will support this rightful cause.

Erdogan has also spoken with other countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Malaysia. They show their readiness to deal with Israel.

According to official sources, Israel's recent attacks in Palestine have led to the death of 103 people, including children and women. More than 580 people were injured.
