The Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq accompanied by Senior Officials of the Zamfara State Government, led by the State Commissioner of Special Duties to inspected the warehouses stocked, with grains from the Strategic Grain Reserves and the fertilizers to be distributed to farmers by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA.
According to information gathered through official twitter handle of Federal Humanitarian Affairs, reveals that, the honorable minister, Hajiya Sadiya and Director General of NEMA, Muhammad Muhammed (Rtd.) paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Matawalle, where she thanked the Governor and the good people of Zamfara State, for the warm reception accorded her and her team from the Ministry of Humanitarian affairs.
While she further proceeded to Bungudu Local Government Area of the State, in order to flagged off the payment of Household Uplifting Programme, to 130,764 beneficiaries from six (6) Local Government Areas, who have been captured in the National Social Register, therefore, attended to the payment of the GEEP MarketMoni loans to small business holders in the State, according to report via twitter page.
Recalled that, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is still owning some N-power Batch A and Batch B beneficiaries four months outstanding stipends including June.
