Joe Igbokwe, the special Adviser to the governor of Lagos State on Drainage and Water Resources has suggested what he considers the appropriate and fastest way to put an end to the insecurity issues bedeviling the country.
The unity amongst the major tribes in Nigeria is really going through a rough patch at the moment, the state of things across the country is gloomy and urgent measures are needed to be taken in order to restore peace and unity.
Since the start of the new year a day has not gone by without the talk of insecurity in the media, the Boko Haram sect aren't the only dangerous enemy of peace in Nigeria now as there have been unfortunate and criminal activities carried out by the Bandits and killer Herdsmen.
Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to air his opinion, suggesting that all six geopolitical zones in Nigeria should hold a meeting in their respective zones on the insecurity challenges the country has been battling. He suggested that the Zones Leaders should as a matter of urgency meet on the issue and take charge of things. All the six geopolitical zones are; Southwest, Southeast, South-south, Northeast, Northwest, and North-central.
