Election 2023: Peter Obi sweeps seven of the eight collated LGA in Imo State, Tinubu wins one.

Nations Newspapers shared a post on their Facebook page some hours ago revealing that the Headquarters of Independent National Electorate Commission in Owerri commenced collation of the presidential election results in Imo State. Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi won seven out of the eight collated Local Government area in Imo State. Tinubu of APC won in Orsu LGA of the State.

Below is a breakdown of the results in the collated LGA.

1. Ikeduru.

APC- 1339 votes.

Labour Party- 23718 votes

PDP- 99 votes.

2. Orsu LGA.

APC- 35 votes.

Labour Party- 13 votes.

PDP- 1 vote.

3. Nwangele.

LP- 9078 votes.

APC- 479 votes.

PDP- 452 votes.

NNPP- 13 votes.

4. Nkwere LGA.

APC- 662 votes.

LP- 7052 votes.

NNPP- 26 votes.

PDP- 319 votes.

5. Ideato North LGA.

APC- 297 votes.

LP- 10958 votes.

NNPP- 58 votes.

PDP- 586 votes.

6. Ideato South.

APC- 440 votes.

LP- 10216 votes.

NNPP- 65 votes.

PDP- 779 votes.

7. Isu.

APC- 620 votes.

LP- 9602 votes.

NNPP- 25 votes.

PDP- 544 votes.

8. Isiala Mabano.

APC- 754 votes.

LP- 15873 votes.
