Rep Tunji #Ajuloopin, member representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara, has condoled with the people of Aran-Orin over the #death of Pa Peter Akande Jolayemi.

Ajuloopin in a statement on Monday in Omu-Aran, the headquarters of Irepodun local government area of Kwara, said the news of the demise of Pa Jolayemi came to him as a rude shock.

The lawmaker described the centenarian as a community leader per excellence which unwavering support and advise has kept him going stronger as he steer the affairs of the constituency.

"Pa Jolayemi has been playing a fatherly role for me and most of his advises have really helped a lot.

"He is a progressive minded elder statesman whose love for community development was unparalleled.

"I will surely miss Pa Jolayemi, we have lost a great man and a community leader per excellence.

"I want to condole the entire people of Aran-Orin for this irreparable loss and prayed that God grant the family the fortitude to bear the demise of Pa Jolayemi" Ajuloopin said.

Pa Jolayemi died in the early hours of Sunday, Feb. 7, in Aran-Orin, Irepodun local government area of Kwara, at the age of 105.
