Last week, many Nigerians were astonished after Chief Femi Fani-Kayode defected to the All Progressive Congress. After his official presentation to President Buhari at the state house, the former minister of aviation had reportedly hinted that he is working behind the scene to woo Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and some other governors to also dump PDP for the ruling party. Governor Seyi Makinde might likely make this move as it seems the respected governor has lost the support of many PDP members in Oyo State. A video shared by BBC Yoruba shows PDP loyalists requesting that Seyi Makinde leaves the party. In the incident which happened during the Oyo PDP Stakeholders/Elders’ meeting, many people were chanting that they don't want Governor Makinde in the party again. Obviously seeking for a second term, Governor Makinde might have no option than to join Chief Femi Fani-Kayode at APC.
