President Muhamadu Buhari led federal government has shown times without number that the wellbeing of the Nigerian people is his topmost priority. This is evident in his friendly and all inclusive programs meant to eradicate hunger and unemployment that the country has faced in time past.
Recall that late last year, the federal government launched the 'transport track' which follows the successful take off of the Artisans' Support track earlier in October with both schemes under the Survival Fund
The launch of the transport track last Monday follows the successful take-off of the Artisans’ Support track on October 1st. While the Artisans track is under the Survival Fund, the Transport track is a different scheme also under the Fund initiative.
Recall Mariam Katagum, the minister of state for Industry had earlier in January disclosed that the first set of beneficiaries, numbering a total of 155,920, and now the beneficiaries under the transport track of the FG's Survival Fund have been approved for payment.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande made this known in a statement at two separate virtual interactive sessions Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo had with the beneficiaries.
Read the statement:
This is indeed a remarkable move by the President Muhamadu Buhari's led government. Although insecurity has been a major challenge to the Nation, but it has never shifted the attention of the President towards other pressing needs of the masses.
