When Sultan Of Sokoto Was A Soldier, He Lived In The House Peter Obi Built As A Student - Pat Utomi

A chieftain of the Labour Party, Professor Pat Utomi has stated that Peter Obi's experience as a businessman has made him understand the problems in the country.

In an interview with Arise TV, Pat Utomi said Peter Obi built multiple businesses at a very young age. He said he gathered that when the current Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammadu Abubakar was in the military, he once lived in a house that Peter Obi built while he was still a student at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. According to Pat Utomi, with Peter Obi's experience as an entrepreneur, he can move the country to a stage where it can create wealth for the people and pull people out of poverty.

About 15:30 minutes into a video shared on YouTube, Pat Utomi said: "There are issues of competence, Peter Obi started life as a businessman and even as an undergraduate at the University of Nigeria he owned businesses in Nsukka. In fact, the Sultan I am told was actually living in a house as a young lieutenant in Nsukka that was owned by a student called Peter Obi. So his entrepreneurial energies have enabled him to understand the problems of this country. This country is a country kept down by regulatory risk and you need somebody who started life as a businessman and knows the challenge of regulatory risk. You need that kind of thinking to move our country to a stage where it can create wealth for the people.
