Gov Bello: APC Governorship Aspirants Cannot Dictate Mode Of Primary Election
Over the weeks, there have been controversy between the APC governorship aspirants and the caretaker committee on the mode of primary election to be adopted in the forthcoming party primary.
The Kogi State Governor who is the chairman of the Ondo State APC Primary Election Committee moved for indirect primary while 11 out of the 12 aspirants rejects the move except the sitting Governor of Ondo Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who agreed with the indirect primary.
Earlier today, the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who is who is the chairman of the Ondo State APC Primary Election Committee, said the aspirants under the ruling APC cannot dictate to the party the mode of primaries.
According the Governor Bello, the aspirants are not in any position to dictate the mode of primaries for the party, that it is sole duty of the party to chose which mode to use for its primary.
