Francis Chilaka, a Nigerian Public Affairs Analyst talked with the media about the incoming Nigerian governors and the fate of southeast governors forum. While the discussion was going on, Chilaka said that the southeast governors need to always work together as one to achieve their goals.
He said that there's no peace in the southeast as it used to be, and the southeast governors are not doing anything tangible to fight against disunity and enmity in the region. Chilaka talked about the condition of his own state, Imo state "There have been hatred, calamity, disunity in Imo state, my state, since the Supreme court declared Hope Uzodimma the governor of Imo state, and since then, the Imo people hates him".
"And he, Hope Uzodimma has not found a way to make it up to the people of Imo. The bad things happening in Imo state has increased beyond normal, especially after Hope Uzodimma was declared the governor of Imo state by the Supreme court. I commend the works of Charles Chukwuma Soludo in Anambra state, and I love what he's doing in Anambra state. But his problem is that he talks too much".
"He leaves the most important things to tackle, then starts talking about things that has no meaning to him and his people, but he is doing well, and I like it". Chilaka also said that the southeast governors need to come together to plan to work together to develop the southeast, and not only depend on the federal government all the time, Francis Chilaka concluded.
