5000 PDP Youths Backs Wike For 2023 Presidency
As 2023 general elections draws near so many groups have started to endorse their favorite candidate for the presidential sit.
Recently, Over 5000 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youths in the South-west on Wednesday called on the leadership of the party to pick the River State Governor, Nyesom Wike as running mate for its presidential candidate.
The PDP youths said Wike’s choice will be a perfect arrangement that would put the party in good stead to wrestle power from the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
In a statement in Ado-Ekiti signed by the Convener, Com. Akeem Adebomojo, the youths under the auspices of the southwest Youths Coalition (SWYC), said that Wike remains the best material given the realities of the last presidential polls and current indications in the polity.
The group advised the opposition party, to field competent and popular people as the (PDP) President and Vice Presidential candidate for a smooth and resounding victory in the coming 2023 Presidential election.
A Prominent Politician Joins APC
In the quest to remain in power, so many Prominent Politician have started joining the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
Recently, The lawmaker representing Egbado North/Imeko Afon federal constituency of Ogun State, Jimoh Olaefa has dumped the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olaifa’s defection was announced by the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila who announced the defection in a letter addressed to the House.
PDP Accuses APC Of Deceiving Nigerians With Job Creation

Recently, The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan has accused the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) of deceiving Nigerians with claims of massive job creation in the country.
Ologbondiyan stated this in a statement while reacting to the report by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on escalated 33.3 per cent unemployment rate in the country.
