We are presently in a Computer Age and for me, this can also be regarded to as a Social Media Age. This is the period when everything you need to know; be it the culture of a certain distant people, someone's life account, viral news, and all kinds of information and gists can be sourced on the Social Media.
When it comes to Nigeria Twitter, there are people who have built homes on the platform. They have become popular and influential on the platform due to one reason or the other. And this mostly culminates in their accounts getting verified. This can be said about Dr Joe Abah.
He is one of the men who have become popular on Nigeria Twitter due to their outspoken lifestyle when it comes Yo Nigeria politics. Dr Joe Abah never hides his face in talking about ways to achieving a better Nigeria. He is also a critique of those in political offices; a way to put them in checks.
Dr Abah has taken to his Twitter handle to share the good news of his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari to work on development of the citizens' database.
In his words:
"Mr President has appointed me into the Steering Committee to drive digital identification, chaired by the SGF. Our task is to give all Nigerians digital identity within 5 years. We will integrate other data that govt holds, like BVN, drivers license & passports, with NIMC' NIN"
Most of his followers were quick to congratulate him and send him goo wishes and prayers.
Congratulations to him. We wish him and the team success in working towards achieving their task.
