In a video that is trending online, a voter who said he went to his polling unit at Olowale Street, Ward 7, Isolo, Lagos State was chased out of his polling unit by some people who brought out cane to flog him. He said he didn't cause any trouble, and that he was already accredited and was waiting for it to get to his turn so he can cast his vote.
The young man said he saw Army personnel and told them he was flogged. He said they told him they were coming, but later left.
In his words, he said:
"I have been flogged out of my polling unit at Olowale Street, Isolo, Ward 7. Flogged out like a common criminal now look at my neck. I didn't cause any trouble, I just got accredited and was about to vote when I was flogged out of my unit.
