I Can Pay Women To Threaten If Akpabio Does Not Become Senate President, They Will Walk Naked- Ndume

Federal lawmaker, senator Ali Ndume in an interview with Arise News, said Godswill Akpabio has every requirements he needs to become senate president.

He said this after a coalition of South-south women vowed to protest naked on the streets of Abuja if the president-elect, Bola Tinubu does not renounce his support for the senate presidency ambition of Godswill Akpabio.

In wake of the latest development, senator Ali Ndume in the interview dismissed the threats made by the women as an arranged plot.

He said as an ally of Godswill Akpabio, he can decide to gather women together, pay them and get them to protest naked on the streets of Abuja in support of the senate presidency ambition of Godswill Akpabio.

Senator Ali Ndume said "the only qualification senator Akpabio needs to be senate president is what he has already. He must be a senator elect, he must be a ranking senator, not a new senator. He was a minority leader, he knows what to do from day one. That's all. He need the acceptability of the senators-elect who are going to vote on that day. So far, we have 70 people that have endorsed the candidature of Godswill Akpabio.

"Tomorrow, as a DG, I can pay for women not only to demonstrate that they are in support of Akpabio, but also to threaten that if Akpabio does not become senate president, they will come to the National Assembly and walk naked. It's normal in Nigeria. Once you have the money, you can hire women. Some journalists called me and asked me what's my response, I said I can easily arrange for three thousand, ten thousand women in Abuja to come out tomorrow as long as you have a price."
