Call it love wantintin, you may be right, as the First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari, seems to be showing affection to her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, when she decided to help her husband fix his nose mask at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, in the evening of Wednesday, October, 20.
The president held a reception for the visiting President of Turkey, Mr Recep Ergogan and his wife, Mrs Emine Erdogan, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, shortly after the Turkish president arrived in Nigeria on a two-day visit. The reception was attended by many dignitaries.
However, before the arrival of the visiting president and his wife, the First Lady decided to show her affection to her husband as she decided to help her husband fix his nose mask from behind his neck while the president was seen smiling over the gesture.
After helping her husband to fix the nose mask, President Buhari later had some minutes of discussion together with his wife where they chatted excitedly, probably discussing domestic and national matters, in one of the chambers at the Presidential Villa.
Thereafter, both the president and his wife received the visiting Turkish President and his wife after which they hosted the visitors to a reception at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
The photograph of the First Lady in a relaxed mood and helping to fix her husband's nose mask seems to have put to rest, various insinuations being bandied about that there was a crack in the relationship between the president and his wife.
The photograph and others taken at the event were taken from the Facebook wall of the First Lady and they generated quite some reactions from many of her followers on the wall.
For some time, there were reports that the First Lady had left the Aso Rock residence. However, for over three weeks now, Mrs Buhari has always been attending various official functions at the Presidential Villa.
