Photo: Enugu State government hold valedictory service for Ekweremadu

The government of Enugu state today hosted a valedictory service in honor of former commissioner for transport Rt. Hon. Mathias Ekweremadu. He died on 5th of February 2021 after a brief illness.

Before his death he was the current commissioner for transport in Enugu state. He was the for local government chairman of Aninri local government area and also a former member of the of the Enugu state house of assembly.

Mr, Mathias Ekweremadu was a junior brother to the former deputy Senate president, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu. Who was in the service with his wife.

Top dignitaries in the service include the governor of Enugu state Gov. Ugwuangi and his deputy. And all the executive members of the state. Enugu state PDP chairman Hon. Nnamani was also present.

It was a sad moment for the people of Enugu state as they lost a dedicated servant of the people and the governor described him as a hard-working man who was dedicated to his duties till the day he died.
