The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has cast his vote in Lagos State.
The former Lagos State governor performed his civic right alongside his wife, Remi Tinubu, at Polling Units 085, Ward 3, Sunday Adigun, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Tinubu voted at polling unit 047 during the 2019 general election before his polling unit was changed to Alausa.

Gov Bello Commends INEC, Assures APC Victory

The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the smooth conduct of the 2023 general election, assuring that APC will triumph at the end of the process.
Bello, who voted at his country home Agassa in Okene local government areas of Kogi state shortly after he cast his vote at unit 11, Agassa, Okeneba, Ahache ward said the BVAS used in his polling unit initially malfunctioned, but rectified and served the multitude of the electorate who queue to exercise their franchise.
Bauchi Gov, Wife Cast Votes, Hails INEC

The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and his wife, Aisha arrived at their Bakin Dutse, 008 Polling Unit, Yelwan Duguri in the Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state where they cast their votes.
They cast their votes at exactly 11.20 am.
Speaking to journalists shortly after voting, the governor expressed satisfaction with the maturity being exhibited by the electorates in the state.

The Peoples Democratic Party Chairman for the FCT, Sunday Zaka, is dead.
A family member who pleaded anonymity because he was not authorized to announced it confirmed the development to Vanguard on Saturday.
He said, “Our brother, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Chairman in the Federal Capital Territory, died in a motor accident with some of his aides in the early hours of this morning.
Buhari Shows Ballot Paper After Voting In Katsina

President Muhammadu Buhari has shown his ballot paper as he cast vote in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State. He voted alongside his wife, Aisha.
The President, whose two-term tenure of eight years ends on May 29, 2023, is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a campaigner for his party’s flag bearer, Bola Tinubu.
Malami's Utterances Disappointing, Says Activist

A United State of America -based Nigerian medical doctor and socio-political activist, Dr. Marindoti Oludare, has faulted the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami over his comment that some governors and individuals could be tried for treason for opposing the modalities for federal government’s currency notes’ swap.
Oludare who is the Convener/National Coordinator of Social Rehabilitation Gruppe (SRG), described the statement credited to Malami as sheer political rascality and expressed reservations about the competence of the minister.
