The Pharoahs are not relenting, they are still coming against Okonjo Iweala

Okonjo Iweala has given her plans for the World Trade Organisation if selected as the director-general of this world renowned organisation. However, Okonjo Iweala is not really bothered about anything aside the fact that another contending country for this position, will not stop attacking her nomination as Nigeria's candidate.

Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari made a late replacement with Okonjo Iweala, and ever since then the Pharaoh's nation has been coming against Nigeria and her candidate, Okonjo Iweala.

Egypt had asked ECOWAS to disqualify her, because she was a late replacement. Even though it was apparent that they were intimidated by her past successful records, Egypt still made it look like Okonjo Iweala what's an error for Nigeria, and would do anything to stop her from contending, because she is more like a threat to Hamid Mamdouh, the Egypt's candidate for the same position.

The opposition from Egypt became clearer when their candidate claimed that Okonjo Iweala does not have the support of Africa, even when Benin republic as stepped down their contending candidate, Eloi Laourou to support Nigeria and her candidates.

Despite the outcry of the Egyptian side, the World Trade Organisation clearly and authoritatively accepted the nomination of Okonjo Iweala, a move that suggests that she might likely win the battle for the position of the director-general of the organisation.

The African Union was solidly behind Hamid Mamdouh, but this support for him became fractured when ECOWAS publicly declared their full support for the Nigerian candidate.

This must be one of the reasons why Egypt will not stop attacking Nigeria constitutionally. Okonjo Iweala would be the first woman, and African running for that position to lead the organisation.

She definitely has better records than the Egyptian candidate. Egypt should just rest and let expertise decide who wins this battle, because the last time I checked, the Pharaohs always end up drowning in the red Sea.
