PDP: NWC Positions that Passed Consensus Option and the Potential Winners

As the main opposition party in Nigeria, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), advances toward the conduct of her National Convention, some members of the party have displayed commendable characters as they, unanimously, agreed on consensus candidates for some positions of the party's National Working Committee (NWC).

It could be recalled that some leaders and members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have, unanimously, agreed to conduct the National Convention of the party which is slated for Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2021.

At the venue of the national convention of the opposition party, new members of the National Working Committee (NWC) will be elected. 

Interestingly, while winners of some NWC positions will be decided, by voting, at the venue of the National Convention, some members of the party have agreed to forward their most preferred candidates to take over some specific positions of the National Working Committee (NWC), with no opposition.

For instance, Ndubisi Eneh David has been nominated to become the next Deputy National Treasurer of the party while Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi will, certainly, emerge as the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party.

Also, Sen. Chief Ighoyota is approaching the National Convention to become the next Deputy National Organising Secretary of the party, on consensus. In the same manner, Hon. Adamu O. U. Kamale will be crowned as the next Deputy National Financial Secretary of PDP.

Hajara Yakubu Wanka will emerge, unopposed, as the next Deputy National Women's Leader of the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Timothy Osadolor will become the next Deputy National Youth Leader of the party.

Barr. Okechukwu Osuoha will become the new Deputy National Legal Adviser of PDP while Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed will, surely, take charge of the position of Deputy National Auditor of the opposition party.

On consensus, Kamaldeen Adeyemi Ajibade (SAN) will emerge as the National Legal Adviser of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Hon. Debo Ologunagba, commendably, look toward the final moment of the national convention when he will be declared as National Publicity Secretary of PDP.

Interestingly, Sen. Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu is emerging as the National Secretary, in consensus, while Hon. Ahmed Yayari Mohammed will become the National Treasurer of PDP on the same ground.

Hon. Umar Bature will be crowned as the National Organizing Secretary of PDP while Daniel Woyegikuro will become National Financial Secretary of the party.

Encouragingly, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have agreed to endorse the former member of the National Assembly, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu as the some contender for the apex position of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, National Chairman.
