The All Progressives Congress (APC) is intensifying efforts to retain power beyond 2023. Top Politicians in the Country are already making necessary moves to emerge as the Presidential Candidate of the ruling party. All things being equal, Below is a list of Four Prominent Politicians who may emerge as the 2023 APC Presidential and Vice-presidential Candidates.
Tinubu's purported 2023 President is gaining weight momentum day by day in spite of his absence in the Country, His Loyalists under the aegis of South-West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA) has been championing his Candidature across the South-West Region, In the same vein, Several Politicians, Monarchs and Interest Groups have endorse him to run for President in 2023. Although, he is yet to make a public declaration of his intention to run for President, but it's no longer a news that Tinubu is a Top Contender for the 2023 Presidency.
If Tinubu successfully clinches the 2023 APC Presidential Ticket, The incumbent Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong might be considered for the Vice-presidential Candidate. This is because the North-Central has neither produce a President nor Vice-president since 1999 after Nigeria returned returned to Democratic Rule.
Though the incumbent Nigeria's Vice-president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is yet to officially announce his interest in the 2023 Presidential Race. It is believed that the Ogun State-born Politician is one the brilliant minds that APC might consider for it's 2023 Presidential Ticket.
If Osinbajo successfully emerges as the APC Flagbearer, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State is one the Top Politician that may likely emerge as Osinbajo's running. Zulum is making exploit in Borno despite the insurgency ravaging the State. Political pundits are of the view that APC stands a better chance of retaining power in 2023 if Zulum is considered as the party's Vice-presidential Candidate.
