Three years ago, it was reported that Abubakar Idris Dadiyata, who was a lecturer and fierce critic of the Nigerian government, was abducted from his home on August 1st,, 2019, in the Barnawa neighbourhood of Kaduna State, in northwestern Nigeria.
It was reported by amnesty international that, Dadiyata taught at the Federal University Dutsinma, in Katsina State and as a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dadiyata often sparred with members of the ruling All Progressive Congress party on social media.
However, close to four years that he went missing, he has not been found till now and while Senator Shehu Sani, who happens to be the former senator representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, was reacting to this on his official Twitter handle this morning, he alleged that this administration is already going to an end but, the missing person has still not been found.
Shehu Sani says, "The lifespan of this Gov’t is coming to an end without telling Nigerians the whereabouts of this young man Idris Dadiyata, who was abducted from his house in Kaduna 3 years ago.The Federal & Kaduna State Gov’t & Kaduna Senators & Reps refused to raise his issue at the NASS."
