The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu has urged Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed in delivering the promises he made to people. Tinubu made the statement after he observed Eid Prayer in Lagos today.
While addressing newsmen, Tinubu urged Nigerians to include President Muhammadu Buhari in their prayers so that he can fulfil the responsibilities put on his shoulder. According to Tinubu, Nigeria is currently facing security challenges, but with prayers from its citizens, it can overcome the challenges.
The APC National Leader also urged the Muslim faithful not to forget the poor and the vulnerable people among them during the Eid celebration. He cited that for someone to be a good Muslim, he has to show generosity and compassion towards other human beings.
He also prayed for Nigerian soldiers and other security agencies that are trying to restore peace across different parts of the country to continue recording success in their operations.
