Ahead of the March 11 governorship election in Lagos State, the Labour Party's Governorship Candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has assured Lagos State electorates that their votes will count, reminding them that Labour Party won Lagos State in the just concluded presidential election.
While speaking, Mr Rhodes-Vivour noted that the Labour Party won Lagos State on February 25th, because as Lagosians they recognised the need to change and improvement in Nigeria.
Speaking further, the Lagos State Labour Party's Governorship Candidate noted that on the 11th of March, they will win Lagos again, assuring electorates in Lagos State that their votes will certainly count. Ending his tweet, he stated it clearly they will return Lagos State to being the centre of excellence.
It should be recalled that the Bola Tinubu, who was the former governor of Lagos State, was defeated by the Labour Party's Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, in Lagos State, during the just concluded presidential election. As we head towards the next Saturday's governorship election in the state, the Labour Party's Governorship Candidate is hoping to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.
