Professor Joshua Alobo, a professor of international law and jurisprudence has come out to say that Labour Party and Peter Obi winning Lagos state ahead of the APC in this election is 'unheard of'.
According to the Professor who appeared in an interview on Channels television this afternoon, Obi's victory in Lagos should not be attributed to the population of the Igbos in Lagos but to his movement which was very strong ahead of the election.
In his own words as seen on Channels television this afternoon...
"For Labour Party and Peter Obi to win Lagos state, it's unheard of and it's not because the Igbos were majority, there are Yorubas there and other tribes as well. It's because Peter Obi's movement was strong but as some of us are saying, it's not enough to build the success of an individual in this election. So Nigerians should not be a weeping child who cries every time it doesn't favour them."
