Rivers State People Are Not Daft To Vote For Someone Who Looted The State Resources of $50M—Wike

According to the Nation News, it was reported that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has explained that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tonye Cole, is not electable because he is facing prosecution for allegedly defrauding Rivers of $50 million.

It was also reported that Governor Nyesom Wike also urged the people of Rivers State to steer clear of him, saying that any attempt to elect him would stall his ongoing prosecution.

According to one of his statements, Nyesom Wike also said that "the people of Rivers State are not daft to vote someone who looted the state resources of $50 million." "They already know the right candidate to vote for, who will bring progress and development to the state."
