Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has been on a tour round some States in Southwest for some days now with a view to flush out killer-herdsmen from Yoruba Land and indeed he has achieved success in his quest to see the lives of farmers secured while working in their farms.
His eviction notice to herdsmen in Igangan community has been considered as unlawful by several people and today, Sahara Reporters revealed that DSS arrested Northern Group leaders over plans to issue quit notice to other nationalities which is similar to what Sunday Igboho did.
A Human Right Activist, by name Kenechukwu Okeke has reacted to the arrest of Northern Group leaders as he urged DSS to do same thing to Sunday Igboho. According to him, arresting Sunday Igboho will be a useful step in solving the eviction notice problem.
"Arresting Sunday Adeyemo (Sunday Igboho) is a useful step in solving the 'eviction notice' conundrum."
He also stated that the executive governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu who gave an ultimatum for Fulani Herdsmen to vacate Forests in Ondo State should be impeached by the Ondo State House Of Assembly for promoting ethnic unrest and discrimination, describing his eviction notice as 'inhumane'.
Some Nigerians have reacted to this as they were not on the same page with him due to the fact that Sunday Igboho and Akeredolu gave the eviction notice so as to protect the lives of Yorubas in Southwest.
Do you think what Sunday Igboho is doing now will have a negative effect later when the herdsmen decide to retaliate? Do you agree with what this Human Right Activist said? Like, share and drop a comment.
