The agitations from Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and yoruba nation is becoming alarming to the extent that so many people have started reacting towards it. IPOB and Yoruba Nation have been seeking for the division of Nigeria through their leaders Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho, the two activists have raised so much tension in some parts of the country over their quest to divide Nigeria.
According to Daily Trust, Sheik Ahmad Gumi advised clerics from the Southern part of the country to engage those behind the uprising in the region the same way he does to bandits.
The respected cleric said this in a statement he issued in reaction to the call for bandits to be declared terrorists.
However, so many Nigerians are anxious about knowing if the advice from Ahmad Gumi to Southern Clerics will help to end IPOB and Yoruba Nation Agitations In Nigeria.
Nevertheless, Nigerians should know that IPOB and Yoruba Nation agitations and activities are unlawful and it is against the unity of Nigeria. However, I believe that Southern clerics know the best method they could use in tackling the existence of any separatist group in the region but if they want to adhere to Ahmad Gumi's advice it is left for them to decide.
Secondly, the agitations from Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Yoruba Nation over the division of Nigeria will fail and the government will make sure their activities are tackled through planting spies who will reveal their meeting points to security operatives and with that security operatives will invade their camps and destroy them.
