In the quest of Governor Yahaya Bello to deliver his campaign promises, Lokoja Mega Terminal is set to takeoff to give Kogi State a new look.
Speaking on behalf of the state government, Kogi State Commissioner for Transportation, Baron Okwoli disclosed that Governor Yahaya Bello has given the directive for the mega terminal to begin operation by the end of July.
The commissioner disclosed this when he led committee members to inspect the readiness of the facilities at the mega park.
According to him, they are currently working round the clock to ensure compliance with Governor Yahaya Bello's directive to make the Lokoja Mega Terminal fully ready for use by end of July, 2020.
He noted that Kogi State will wear a new look when the Mega Terminal begins operation by the end of this month. He explained that the Lokoja Mega Terminal has the capacity to retain about 500 vehicles at a time.
The mega terminal features a food court, terminal building, ATM gallery, loading bays, security posts, gate houses, mechanical workshops, drivers lounge, rest rooms, car wash, amongst others.
