APC Wins Presidential Elections In Niger State
LAGOS – As results of the Presidential elections continue to trickle in from various states of the nation, the Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the All Progressives Congress, APC as the winner of the Presidential elections in Niger State, with a total of 375,183 votes.
The results, as presented by the State Collation Officer, Professor Clement Alawa are as follows:

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit, has faulted former President Olusegun Obasanjo for calling for the suspension of the ongoing presidential election process.

The MSSN Lagos Amir (President), Miftahudeen Thanni, in a statement on Tuesday, said Obasanjo’s letter to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), “was unnecessary and biased”.
Obasanjo had in a letter on Monday called for the suspension of the collation of results of the presidential election over concerns of irregularities raised in some quarters, and urged Buhari to prevail on the Independent National Electoral Commission to cancel elections in the polling units affected.
INEC declares Kwankwaso winner of Presidential election in Kano

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, has won the just concluded Presidential Elections in Kano State with the highest votes of 997,279.
Bola Ahmad Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, came second with 517,341, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, polled 131,716 votes.
The INEC Returning Officer, Professor Lawan Suleiman Bilbis, who announced the results, said they were collated from the 44 Local Government areas of Kano.

ABUJA – The Vice Presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and that of the Labour Party, Datti Baba Ahmed, have said that any result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), National Chairman, Professor Yakubu Mahmood, is illegal.
They also insisted that a fresh election should be conducted by the Commission, adding that those calling on the opposition parties to go to court know what they have perfected.
