(NB: President Buhari’s first daughter, Zulaihat Junaid, died of sickle cell anemia after giving birth in November 2012, . While another son named Musa passed on in infancy as a result of dying in infancy from sickle cell anemia.
General Muhammadu Buhari (Retired) GCFR is the current President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, since 2015 to date. He was also formerly the Head of State from 1983 to 1985.
