The former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose has escaped from gun shots on Monday while exiting the venue of People Democratic Party (PDP) Southwest zonal congress held in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday 12 April , 2021.
Mr Ayodele Fayose was about to leave the venue of the party's congress when a group of hoodlums stormed the entrance of the venue and starting shot sporadically in order to gain entrance into the WOCDIF Event Centre where the congress was being held.
It was all pandemonium at the venue of the congress as the hoodlums attempted to forcefully gain entrance into the centre.
With the quick intervention of the Osun State Police Command, the hoodlums were chased away.
Meanwhile, Mr Ayodele Fayose was whisked away unhurt in a black tinted Jeep by the Security operatives.
Meanwhile , normalcy was said to have returned to the venue of the congress as the hoodlums were chased away by the Osun State Police Officers.
