After the vaccination, the Vice President took to his social media pages to confirm that he has been vaccinated. Professor Yemi Osinbajo said that the President has urged State Governments, traditional leaders and religious leaders to lead the campaign in their various areas of influence
The President and the Vice President received a jab of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine on Saturday. The vaccination campaign started on Friday with frontline health workers being the first to be vaccinated.
The President and Vice President were vaccinated on live TV, just as many citizens had wanted, in order to build the trust of the populace as the country joins its counterparts in the fight against the Covid19
The Vice President said that the vaccine offers hope for a safe country free of coronavirus
