According to news published by the Daily Trust Newspaper this evening, results are already trickling in from across polling units in the ongoing Governorship election in Kano state. The four major contenders batt out to o secure higher votes in Kano state. Abba Kabir Yusuf of New Nigeria People Party, Nasir Gawuna of All Progressive Congress, Shaban Sharada of ADC, and Malam Ibrahim Khalil will be hoping to overtake Governor Ganduje in 2023.
However, the results so far announced by INEC show Nasir Gawuna of All Progressive Congress leading in some polling units.

Ward: Ado Bayero Square.
PU 062, Sabon Gari East, Fagge Local Government of Kano State.
APC: The ruling All of Progressive Congress score 16 votes.
NNPP: The candidate of the New Nigeria People Party in the Governorship election, Abba Kabir Yusuf scored four votes.
SDP: The candidate of the SDP scored one vote in the Governorship election.
ADC: The candidate of the ADC scored one vote.
PDP. The candidate of the People Democratic Party has 0 votes.
