Former Governor Of Kwara State, Ahmed, Has Been Arrested By EFCC Over The Diversion Of N9 Billion

This present adminstration has maintained the policy of exposing and catching corrupt politicians and past leaders.

Over the past few years several politicians and prominent people across the country has been probed or exposed as a result of the President's determination to wipe out corruption in the Nigerian political system.

The Special Assistant to president Bihari On Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has taken to her Twitter page to reveal that a former governor of Kara State has been arrested.

According to her, a former governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over the diversion of sum to the tone of N9 billion.

He laundered this money during his tenure as a commissioner in Kwara State and also during his tenure as governor.

Lauretta Onochie said that Ahmed is currently in the custody of the EFCC and he's being seriously interrogated.

This is a welcoming and commendable development. I hope the whole corrupt politicians in the country will be exposed.

Nigeria really needs good leaders and not greedy people that cares only about their pockets.
